Overview
Max Design Labs ("Max Design Labs," "we," "us," or "our") is a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based design and marketing studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through maxdesignlabs.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.
Information You Provide to Us
When you fill out a form on the Site (contact, quote request, free automation call, email marketing audit, or website review), we collect the information you submit, which may include:
- Name and email address
- Phone number
- Business name, business type, and website URL
- Details about your project, goals, or challenges (e.g. package interest, email platform, list size, leads per month, or a freeform message)
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes, schedule calls, and provide the services you've requested.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, and approximate location (derived from your IP address).
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare Pages, also logs standard connection data (such as IP address and request timestamps) as part of delivering and securing the Site.
Analytics Tools
We use the following third-party analytics tools on the Site:
- Google Analytics — used to understand overall traffic, such as how many people visit the Site, which pages they view, and which key events (like form submissions) occur. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or remarketing.
- PostHog — used to understand how visitors use the Site, including session recordings and heatmaps that show how people scroll, click, and move through pages. Session recordings mask sensitive form fields by default and are used solely to improve the design and usability of the Site, not to identify you personally.
These tools may place cookies or similar technologies on your device. See the "Cookies" section below for more detail.
How We Use Your Information

- To deliver, maintain, and improve the Site
- To understand how visitors use the Site through aggregate analytics
- To communicate with you about your project or, if you've opted in, occasional updates from Max Design Labs

How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Site and our business, including:
- HubSpot — our customer relationship management (CRM) platform, used to store and manage information submitted through our forms
- Resend — used to deliver form submissions to our inbox and to send you email replies
- Cloudflare Pages — our website hosting provider
- Google Analytics and PostHog — our analytics providers
We do not currently use a separate email marketing platform. If we add one in the future, we will update this policy to reflect it. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Max Design Labs or others.
Cookies
Google Analytics and PostHog use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to recognize your browser across visits and to power the analytics described above. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how some features of the Site behave, but the Site will remain usable.
Data Retention
We retain information submitted through our forms for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain our business records, or until you ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of Google Analytics and PostHog.
